The deep fur and greyish color make the cat exclusive. ts body is covered with contrasting shades that range from dark spots or a distinctive marble pattern, from bright orange to light brown. A glimpse of shines can be seen when the light hits the fur.

How to produce a melanic/black Bengal kitten?

When you understand how the color gene of the cat works, it is not difficult to produce a matching stick color kitten. You have to know that the melanistic gene is completely rare, which means that both parents must render a copy of the gene to transmit the “all-black” effect. In fact, a Black Bengal cat has 2 copies of genetically identified melanistic genes to determine its color.

In other words, in order to produce a Black Bengal kitten, both parents must be either melanotic or the melanotic gene must be able to transmit it for the successful result.

A cat that carries a Bengal cat melanistic gene received only 1 copy of the gene from the parents. In appearance, the kitten will not be black, rather, considering its colors such as brown, silver, snow, or blue, the melanic gin generally provides better contrast than many Bengal cats.
